You can apply for articles in UK from here in Pakistan... But the problem is that they'll call you for an interview and you'll have to go there one way or the other and take the gamble if you're willing to...

I don't think any firm would be ready to give you work permit without an interview... Even those who are in London find it difficult to get articles... However, again, don't be demotivated... Luck matters a lot, and your own efforts too... You have to be at the right place at the right time..somehow!
