After simple F.A you can do B.A with economics and also do B.A with Economics. These are two best options for you. After B.Com or B.A you will have a wide choice.

dear WARDHA,
let me tell u one thing PIPFA is a very good option for u to learn more about accounting and finance
as i have completed my PIPFA, i know how much knowledge it offers to u
and as u said that u want a course that will last only for 6-12months
the standard period of PIPFA is 18 months , it can be reduced to 12 months if u have done B.COM/BBA.
in my view if u want learn more about accounting and finance then u should GO for PIPFA rather than MBA
because MBA does not HAVE that much knowledge about accounting and finance as much PIPFA QUALIFIED have ..
finally decision is urs ..

Wardah, I think u Should go for ACCA, if you are so much serious about your career in Accounts.

Just leave thinking of short courses, go for ACCA instead PIPFA, because ACCA is globally Accepted and for your info, it is BIGGEST Accounting body!

Secondly, if u are hesitative of entering in certification Track, Try for M.COM, As you have already done Master's, I think your M.Com will be of 1 year duration, Again I am not sure about this point, But you may confirm it, As having one relevant Academic degree in Commerce(MCOM) will be favourable for you in future, INSHALLAH.

@yasir_live
dear every professional qualification has its own worth, so does the PIPFA has.
it has nothing to do with comparison with other qualifications.

@WARDHA

i am not sure of exemptions for MSc.
u may confirm it by downloading PIPFA CAREER PLAN .
which can be dowload from the following link
http//www.pipfa.org.pk/careerplan2008.PDF

as far as cost is concerned u will also find it in PIPFA CAREER PLAN.

regards,
Muhammad Faizan Pasha
