Did Anyone know that how much UCP is taking to Award MBA degree to qualified CImA and ACCA? Does we have to give any papers for it or only submit thesis or both?

Aslam-o-Alaikum every body

I am going for UCP's BBA (Hon's) programme.
Total fee for this programme is Rs.40,000/-. UCP has brought some change in this programme.

1)Now the degree is awarded after two years from the date on which
you apply.

2)Total fee is Rs.40,000/-

3)There will be a comprehensive MCQs based test covering the BBA
syllabus specially Pak studies and Islamyat.

4)UCP provides the preparation material for the above test.

5)After test candidate is to submit research thesis for which
supervisor will be provided.

6)UCP will help the candidate in topic selection and formate of the
thesis

7)If thesis is rejected then candidate may submit the same again
without any additional fee

8)It will take upto 7 months to complete all the above procedures
and requirements.

9)On completion of 2 years BBA (Hon's) degree will be awarded in the
nearest convocation.

10)CGPA/GP for the award of degree shall be based upon following

i) Coverage of standard course during professional
qualification on the basis of which you apply,

ii) Thesis

iii) Test taken by UCP

One of my friends has got this degree with 3.5 CGPA out of 4.0 on the basis of PIPFA

I hope this information would be beneficial for many of you.

HEC always recognized this degree but had some reservations which were following;

1- How a four year degree can be awarded to a student with previous
two year or even less schooling(CA-inter 2year, ACCA upto F9 1.5
year, PIPFA 1.5 year etc)

2- No professional student study Pak Studies and Islamyat which is
must for issuance of degree by any university in Pakistan,

3- How UCP award degree whitout assessing the students through its
own exams. This is because there is difference in the syllabus
and approach of all the professional bodies, students of whom are
being offered degree.

But UCP by introducing new policy mentioned in my last post has fulfilled these short comings.
Now UCP issue degree after two year atleast, It has specified a syllabus of its own and test the students through its own exam system. It also takes test of PS and Islamyat now. After all this UCP is recognized in every respect like any other BBA degree in Pakistan.

Just day before yesterday I myself contacted HEC about this degree programme. They told all the degrees of the UCP are recognized as UCP is listed as Degree awarding Institute and is catagorised in 'W' ranking of HEC.
