Tax deposited with wrong NTN/NIC Number

Good day to all of you, i am the new user hopping you all will help me, so my question is that i have submitted withholding tax chllan in the bank where i wrote right company name but provided wrongly ntn/nic number instead of right ntn number and now i want to correct this so what to do becasue now our supplier ask us to provide them exact certificate. I hope i will be answered as soon as possible.

This is not possible for you to change information that you have provided in Tax Challans . Just provide tax certificates to the supplier with correct name and do not provide them the original challan. Format of certificate of Collection and deduction is avaialable in Incomome Tax Rules ,2002. Just download rules from FBR website and copy the format of certificate.

Don't worry about it. Its not a big problem people frequently submit wrong data with CBR specially while doing e-filling
