CHENNAI, DEC. 18. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will extend support to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) in the launch of an Information System Audit Course.
Establishing and operating a peer review mechanism, preparation of study material in tune with the revised curriculum, supply of faculty and orientation of trainers are the areas in which the ICAI will cooperate with ICAN.
These figure in the action plan drawn up recently for implementation of a memorandum of understanding between the two institutes.
The institutes have also decided to undertake research. An international conference to mark the ICAN foundation day would be organised by the two bodies in January in Nepal, according to a release.
