Dears,

Can anybody apprise about Ph.D. in accountancy at Pakistan. Any university having this subject in its Ph.D. programme and their basic requirements to induct the students. Is M. Phill necessary for CAs to do it. Any one who can provide this information would be highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Kamran.

Dear,

I know that CA is declared to be equivalent to Master degree by HEC and I regard it to be some lack of effort at the part of CAs.

It's strange if M Com is treated to be equivalent to CAs.

Anyways, this is not solely a question for debate at this level.

I would appreciate if some one provide me the info about PH. D. programme of some pakistani university in accountancy for CAs or other eligible candidates.

Regards,

Kamran.

At present, no university or institute in Pakistan is offering a PH.D. degree in accountancy.

But I'm pasting the weblinks of the institutes that have accountancy in their PH.D. subjects

http//wpcarey.asu.edu/acc/doctoral.cfm

http//www.business.uiuc.edu/accountancy/programs/phd/

Hopefully, these would be of interest to you. )
